How to Join

We are a very beginner friendly club! In fact, most of our members had never done Judo prior to joining!

The first thing you'll learn is how to fall, and from there we will teach you the fundamentals of Judo: pins, throws, and general self-defense techniques.

We also love hanging out and goofing around, and have an excellent social community!

Feel free to reach out to our club with questions!

What To Do:

1) Join our IMLeagues page and complete our waivers and anti-hazing trainings! You MUST be registered on our IMLeagues page to step on the mat.

2) Join our GroupMe for practice updates.

3) Rent/Purchase a Gi (uniform)

If you have financial concerns, please follow the instructions on this form, or reach out to Ellie with questions.

4) Attend practices as often as you can! We are a low-commitment club, but we love seeing you!

5) Follow us on Instagram! We send out information and new opportunities all the time.

Why Join?

"This club is an excellent way to stay in shape and learn some self-defense at the same time! Everyone is supportive and there's no pressure to move quickly. The coaches emphasize mastery of the techniques. They host tournaments and clinics alongside practices, but you don't have to compete or attend if you don't want to. They really want everyone moving at their own pace, and it's a great community of people."
